The Pharaoh is a support unit from the Legacy faction. They are equipped with the Pharaoh Sickle and the Pharaoh Flail. |
Characteristics[]
The Pharaoh is a unit from Legacy Faction who forces enemy units to stop before it and kneel, similar to the Banner Bearer, but as a weapon against the enemy.
Location[]
To unlock, go to the Legacy map and enter the roof of the church through the hole on the roof. Inside is a casket with the Pharaoh. Stare at the Pharaoh until it glows and shakes to unlock the unit. |
Appearance[]
The Pharaoh wears a Modius Crown with golden bands, and wields the Crook and Flail, which are symbols of the pharaoh in Egyptian times.
Unit Voice[]
Usage[]
The Pharaoh shows their control over Units and creates a golden ring. Weak opponents that get caught in this ring then bow down, and no enemy units can attack at all. It's effective at keeping units at bay so they can be easily killed, especially by other melee units or area of effect units. Because the Pharaoh does low damage on its own, having allies that can quickly kill any distracted enemies is the key to success. It is also incredibly useful for taking out Longships, as the carriers of the ships will drop their boats on themselves before they bow down.
Trivia[]
- The Pharaoh was originally for a Desert Kingdom faction, which got scrapped later on in development.
- If the player has enough Pharaohs, they can make any unit kneel.
- Bowing down to the Pharaoh causes damage.
- A lot of Pharaohs can stop the Super Peasant, and with the help of high damage units (Like Ballistae with Cheerleaders or Artemis) they can kill the unit.
- It is referred to in the campaign as Billy.
