The Thrown Chest is a weapon from the Pirate faction. The Present Elf uses the newer version. It cannot be accessed by using the Unit Creator or Mods.

The Thrown Chest is a medium sized treasure chest where instead of inflicting harm directly, it pops out 2 random Pirate or Secret(Pirate Themed) ally units after getting thrown. All Pirate styled units could pop out from the chest, from Flintlocks to Blackbeard. It also includes sub-units such as Bomb Cannon Riders and Cannon Riders, but cannot summon a clam. The time it takes for the unit to pop out is seemingly random; it may take up to 4 seconds or immediately after landing.
Although the Thrown Chest is used by throwing it at an enemy with seemingly great amount of vigor, it is generally harmless as it has little impact force. Certain units however many take great damage when struck by the chest, more likely if they are big or quick. Interestingly, in testing, some units are completely invulnerable to the deadly chest.
The Thrown Chest can only be thrown once; after that, the thrower will switch to their fists and punch any opponents they encounter.

- The Thrown Chest has a unique projectile that cannot be selected otherwise.
- The Thrown Present was initially concepted for a chest throwing pirate before it was remodeled to be holiday themed instead.
